A Batman Thanksgiving

Posted by The Daily Zombies Tuesday, November 19, 2013

This Thanksgiving, have an intriguing look at the things to come for the Dark Knight and his extended family courtesy of DC Comics.

Earlier last month, we had our first look at Batman: Eternal, the weekly series project spearheaded by current Batman scribe and Zero Year creator Scott Snyder. Naturally, we expect a whole lot of development for the Gotham characters for next year.

Ahead of Thanksgiving, DC Comics has release an image giving us a good glimpse at the future of Gotham come 2014: Alfred in a straitjacket? The ominous presence of an owl in the trees? Hit the jump for more.

For those with a good knowledge of American paintings or art in general, they would have gathered that the piece was based on Jean Leon Gerome Ferris's The First Thanksgiving 1621 (embedded below for your reference).
