A History of the WWF… MInimized

Posted by The Daily Zombies Saturday, November 16, 2013

Call yourself a WWF/WWE Fan? Brace yourself for an incredibly painstakingly conjured work of a fan (artist Scott Modrzynski) chronicling the history of WWF from 1963 to 2001 in a minimized style a'la Minecraft!

It doesn't matter if you are a fan of the Hulkamania era where you say your prayers, eat your vitamin and whatnot, or if you are a fan of the Attitude Era where Austin 3:16 says that is the bottom line because Stone Cold said so, prepare yourself for an unlikely form of commemoration of the "History of the WWF" thanks to the hard work of artist Scott Modrzynski. (Sorry PG Era kiddos.... You are out of luck here)

Chronicling 1021 wrestlers from 1963 to 2001, when Chris Jericho beat Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock on the same night to unify the WWF and WCW Championship, Modrzynski conjured his masterpiece over the period of two years to a minimized art style similar to pixel blocks of Minecraft. From all former Champions to "glorified jobbers" (Modrzynski's words, not mine), this exhaustive piece of work is once again indicative of the maddening passion and fanfare of wrestling fans. Hit the jump and click on the piece to view it in hi-res glory.
