Only Lovers Left Alive: First Trailer - Undead Monday

Posted by The Daily Zombies Monday, November 11, 2013

This Undead Monday, we take another look at critically acclaimed indie film-maker Jim Jarmusch's latest film, Only Lovers Left Alive, with the release of its first trailer.

In our First Look at Only Lovers Left Alive, the latest film from acclaimed indie film-maker Jim Jarmusch, we were fascinated by the hypnotic ambience of the film but bemoaned at the lack of an actual trailer for the vampire romance comedy featuring the impeccable Tom Hiddleton and Tilda Swinton as a pair of vampire lovers in what Jarmusch described as a "crypto-vampire love story".

Thankfully, the first trailer has arrived, and we are more than pleased to say that it is one that is fitting of the film's calibre. Featuring the subtly vibrant score by award-winning Dutch musician Jozef van Wissem, the trailer generates an intriguing aura surrounding the film. Hit the jump to check out the trailer.

Here are some of the official images from the film.

Here's the synopsis of the film:

Jim Jarmusch’s wry, tender and moving take on the vampire genre features Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston as a centuries-old couple who watch time go by from separate continents as they reflect on the ever-changing world around them. A Sony Pictures Classics release.
