Calendar of Sexy Monsters: Zombie of the Week

Posted by The Daily Zombies Friday, December 27, 2013

Wish yourself a, Monstrously Happy New Year, with this awesome calendar comprising artist Erika Deoudes's rendition of the classic monsters with a "sexy" makeover.

Continuing our countdown of the end of days (in 2014, that is), We are delighted to bring you Calendar of Sexy Monsters, an awesome calendar comprising a set of deliriously conjured renditions of some of the most iconic classical monsters in very compromising circumstances... A so-called "sexy" state of being, thanks to Los Angeles artist, illustrator and designer, Erika Deoudes.

For any self-respecting fans of classic monsters of horror and especially those with a sick sense of humor,  go to Erika Deoudes's Etsy store to procure the calendar in all its tall, short, and "immortal" formats. And do head over to the artist's page to check out more of her amazing illustrations.

Hit the jump to check out the calendar, its official description, as well as the respective pieces.

Here's the official description for the product:

"So hot . . . we nearly turned the fire extinguisher on ourselves." — Playblob Magazine

The Calendar of Sexy Monsters is a set of twelve illustrations of ten famous movie monsters and two humble working-class monsters looking surprisingly (and seasonably) sensual in a funny (and only mildly disturbing) mutation of the conventional pin-up calendar. Always suggestive, but never explicit—these are very freaky monsters, but the kind you can take home to mother.

"A beacon of horror in a world of mundane beauty." — Randall Peeve, C.H.U.D.

The CoSM is not your flimsy, stapled, square, disposable calendar. These are juicy, decadently rectangular, collectible giclée art prints that just happen to be gracious enough to help you figure out what day it is. They're manufactured (illustrated, designed, printed, cut, assembled, bagged, and packed) entirely by me in my little home lab. (Sometimes my man cuts cardboard for shipping.)

The CoSM also features the most frighteningly silly month names in calendar history.

"Deliciously adorkable . . . a body-positive, gender-queer-tastic take on sexy." — Jeffrey Powers, Dorkazine(actual quote)

"All time before it will be forgotten." — The R'lyeh Observer
