The Force is strong with this awesome Star Wars triptych posters by artist Marko Manev

Earlier last October, we were thrilled to check out an incredible Glow-In-the-Dark triptych of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings by Macedonia-based designer and illustrator Marko Manev. Released via Los Angeles' Hero Complex Gallery, the triptych comes with a duality nature thanks to its Glow-In-The-Dark (GID) treatment depicting the sinister dark side of the epic journey with its GID layer. Set to released this Friday (17th January), Manev will be releasing another awesome triptych of an epic trilogy.

In collaboration with Bottleneck Gallery the three epic films of the Original Trilogy of Star Wars is the subject of Manev's triptych treatment. While these 12"x24" do not sport the "Glow-In-the-Dark" features, they still are an awesome presentation of the original epic films. Being a timed release starting at 12pm Eastern and ending on Sunday (19th January) at midnight, the triptych set is available for a hundred bucks for a matching numbered set or $35 each (which is really a silly choice since nobody is going to buy them individually).

Here's what the artist himself have to say about the triptych:

“Finally after so long I gathered the courage to do a Star Wars set! I was reluctant at first because they are some of my favorite movies from my childhood and doing them justice isn’t a small task. Actually A New Hope was the first film I have ever seen! I wanted to capture the ambient mood of each movie, the colossal vehicles and starships, the conflict between the old master and the failed apprentice and most importantly the conflict between father and son.”

Hit the jump to check out the awesome images of the triptych after the details of the prints.
