Set to premiere at The CW late this year, here's our First Look at the second television iteration of DC Comics' iconic speedster, The Flash, as portrayed by Grant Gustin.

With The CW's Arrow gaining steam with both the critics and the regular TV audience, it has always been just a matter of time for the next DC Comics superhero to appear on the small screen. With his well-received debut appearance at Arrow's two-episode "The Scientist", actor Grant Gustin's take on the Scarlet Speedster has been unveiled thanks to release of the first image of the TV series set to premiere later this year.

Apart from featuring Gustin as Barry Allen, the cast of The Flash will also feature Jesse L.Martin, Tom Cavanag, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, Candice Patton, with John Wesley Shipp, the original Flash in the 1990 series, set to take on a recurring role if the show receives a series order.

Here's the official synopsis of the TV series:

Through a freak accident, scientist Barry Allen is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, in THE FLASH.
