We all knew Walt Disney Animation Studios' Big Hero 6 is going to be big. At the New York Comic-Con, we finally have a chance to appreciate the sheer magnitude of the much-anticipated animated film. Brace yourself to see just how BIG the first-ever Disney/Marvel collaboration is going to be with this "Sizzle Reel" released at NYCC.

We last covered Big Hero 6, the first-ever Disney/Marvel collaboration from Walt Disney Animation Studios with a good mixture of cool new clips and a well-edited trailer for the film as the marketing engines of Walt Disney worked overtime to hype up the film with the release date less than a month away.

At the New York Comic-Con (NYCC), we understand that the much-animated film will be making its presence with a major panel. And it certainly did make a BIG presence with an astonishing "Sizzle Reel". As explained by co-director Don Hall at the panel, "We all felt like it would be great for us to take Big Hero 6 and really make it our own, create our own unique world.  And just like the movie is a mash-up of Disney and Marvel, we wanted to do a mash-up of Eastern and Western culture, and we chose a city called San Fransokyo". In the sizzle reel, we finally get a sense of the sheer magnitude of the immersive city serving as a pseudo Land of the Rising Sun with Western sentiments.

With no further ado, check out the awesome trailer for some robot-pounding action as the superhero team assemble in our first real look at the team of Big Hero 6 right below.

Following the launch of their official website, the talented folks from the Poster Posse have announced an official collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studio for Big Hero 6. First unveiled at the NYCC, artist and Poster Posse member Kaz Oomori gives us his take on the animation.
And here's a postcard from San Fransokyo.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Big Hero 6,” an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the CG-animated “Big Hero 6” hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.
