WATCH Seth Meyers' Sorkin Sketch & Amy Schumer's Food Room - Undead Monday

Posted by The Daily Zombies Monday, November 17, 2014

As far as parodies of Aaron Sorkin go, prepare for the ultimate as Seth Meyers takes on the impossible task following Amy Schumer's incredible take earlier this year.

For even the most casual fans of Aaron Sorkin, the trademark style of the critically acclaimed playwright and screenwriter is pretty much right there on the chin: Rapid-fire dialogues with multiple characters engaged. Intelligent arguments with romantic undertones. The "Walk and Talk" (yeah, they even have a Wiki article for it). The Ping-Pong dialogue. Which is all good fodders for a parody. Earlier this year, Amy Schumer made an outrageous parody of the style by phasing "The Newsroom" to the Food Room. Along came Seth Meyers who is now rocking The Late Night show and hosting Aaron Sorkin last week. What did Meyers did then? He delivers one hell of a parody of a parody by going full meta with his colleagues for The Late Night show.

Like what Meyers have mentioned, Schumer absolutely nailed it in her earlier parody which is why the meta route is the only and in our undead opinions, the best way to deliver a good ol' Aaron Sorkin parody. Get some life forces injected in you this Undead Monday with the clip embedded right below.

And for good measures, we have also embedded Amy Schumer's brilliant parody for The Newsroom right below.
