Prepare yourself for the final journey to Peter Jackson's Middle-Earth with these incredible offering from Mondo and an ensemble of artists the likes of Aaron Horkey, Nicolas Delort, and Ken Taylor

With The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies hitting the theatres this week, anticipation for the final journey into Middle-Earth, the cinematic fantasy world conjured by J. R. R. Tolkien, is at an all-time high. Just in time to coincide with the release of Peter Jackson's magnum opus for the prolonged prequel trilogy, Mondo, the collectible art division of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, has tapped into their fantasy department to draw on incredible talents the likes of French artist Nicolas Delort and Australian artist Ken Taylor, and more importantly (in this particular case), the final entry in Aaron Horkey’s Lord of the Rings series that has been three years in the making.

With Taylor taking on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey while Delort took on The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Horkey's The Fellowship of the Ring is perfectly consistent with his earlier two entry of the series both in terms of aesthetics and quality (we have featured The Two Tower earlier this year). All three posters are expected to be available online at a random time on tomorrow, December 16th. Check out all three of them below, followed by a look at the earlier entries in Horkey's LOTR series.
