Tomorrowland: Super Bowl TV Spot

Thanks to the Big Game, we have a closer look at the super-mysterious Tomorrowland from Brad Bird and Disney. And guess what? It's even shorter than the first teaser trailer

Since our First Look at Tomorrowland, the second live-action directorial feature of Brad Bird, with the release of the first teaser trailer at the NYCC last October, we have neither seen nor heard anything about the super-mysterious starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, and Judy Greer, who we all believed to have swore to secrecy on the film.

We have previously covered how the film was treated by Walt Disney Studio as a highly classified project despite its conspicuous inspiration from the futuristic themed land at the five Disney Land theme parks around the world. Thanks to Super Bowl XLIX, we get to check out a new TV spot for the film that is unsurprisingly shorter than the first teaser trailer. Nevertheless, we are relatively astonished by what we saw in that whirlwind thirty-two seconds. Check out the clip right below.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.

Starring George ClooneyBritt RobertsonHugh LaurieTim McGraw, and Kathryn Hahn, Tomorrowland is set to be released on 22nd May 2015.
