Pick yourself up, Marvel Zombies. It's Thanksgiving, and Marvel Studios is here with a real treat: The first trailer of Captain America: Civil War! Yes, this is Captain America vs. Iron Man with Avengers taking on Avengers everywhere.
With the entire Phase Two of Marvel Studios' box-office stomping Phase Two behind us, we all knew what we are in for to open what seems to be the most awesome phase ever in Phase Three when it was announced that the kick-off will be a war. Specifically, a Civil War. Apart from being the live-action adaptation of one of the most beloved comic book story arcs on recent history, the popular storyline will be depicting the all-out war between two groups of superheroes led respectively by fan-favorite Avengers (both cinematically and in the comic books), Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark AKA Iron Man versus Chris Evans' Steve Rogers AKA Captain America. And then there's the not-so-secret spoiler that Tom Holland' brand spanking All-New, All-Different Marvel Studios/Sony-friendly Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man will be making his first-ever appearance in the film. Last but not the least is the insane ensemble cast that is almost the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe including Paul Rudd' Scott Lang / Ant-Man.
With Thanksgiving in our immediate horizon, Marvel Studios has decided to give Marvel Zombies everywhere a First Look at the film with the release of the first trailer of the film directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, who have given us the excellent Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Brace yourself for the debut of the very cool-looking Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), an explosive Avengers stand-off, and one hell of a handicap match with Cap tag-teaming with Bucky on a hapless Iron Man. Check out the trailer embedded right below.

And here are the first posters released.
Here's the official synopsis for the film:
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Captain America: Civil War is currently scheduled to be released stateside on 6th May, 2016.
